Second chance

Visa refused?
Your future isn't.

A refusal hurts. But the same degree often exists elsewhere, easier to reach and sometimes cheaper. Tell us where you're from and who refused you: we'll show you every door that's still open, for free.

A refusal
is a detour.

58%of study permits refused in Canada (Jan. to Aug. 2025)
35%of F-1 visas refused in the United States in 2025 (64% for Africa)
64%of study visas refused in Ireland (Jan. to May 2026)

You're not alone

Refusals are soaring everywhere. It's not you, it's the rules.

Since 2024, the big study destinations have been closing their doors at the same time. Permit caps, higher proof-of-funds thresholds, nationality bans: strong applications are refused every day.

Canada and Quebec

A national cap on study permits, a mandatory provincial attestation letter and, in Quebec, CAQ applications capped per institution until December 2027. Guineans saw only 1% approval in early 2025.

United States

Since January 1, 2026, entry is banned for several countries (including Haiti, Iran, Mali and Burkina Faso) and student visas are suspended for others (including Nigeria, Senegal and Côte d'Ivoire).

UK, Australia, Ireland

The UK no longer issues study visas to Afghan, Myanmar, Sudanese and Cameroonian nationals. Australia has its lowest grant rate in more than 20 years. Ireland refuses nearly two applications out of three.

What if it's a blessing in disguise?

A refusal makes you look where nobody else is looking.

The same degree, elsewhere

Birmingham in Dubai, Monash in Malaysia, RIT in Dubai, TBS in Casablanca: the degree is awarded by the home university, often for a fraction of the price.

Scholarships nobody looks at

Stipendium Hungaricum, Türkiye Bursları, CSC scholarships in China, DSU grants in Italy, AMEXCID in Mexico: fully funded studies, housing included, in countries that are recruiting.

Countries that want you

Morocco with no visa for several West African countries, Malaysia where the university files your application, Canada's Francophone pilot outside Quebec, exempt from the cap.

Our word

What we will never do.

Refused students are scammers' favorite target. StudentVisaRefused.com is neutral: no school pays to appear here.

  • Promise you a visa. Nobody controls a consular decision.
  • Advise you to hide a refusal. A false declaration is far worse than the refusal itself.
  • Steer you to a dubious school. Recognized institutions only, never Northern Cyprus.
  • Ask you for money to "speed up" a file. That doesn't exist.

Frequently asked questions

What students ask us.

Do I have to declare my refusal in my next application?

Yes, always, whenever the form asks. Ireland, Malta and several European national visas ask about previous refusals, and a Schengen refusal stays visible across the whole Schengen area. Hiding a refusal can lead to an entry ban.

Is it really the same degree on a campus abroad?

Often yes, but not always. For each campus we show whether the degree is confirmed identical, partial (dual degree, semester, partnership) or to be verified. Always check what is printed on the diploma, not the advertising.

Is it free?

Yes. The tool, the destination pages and the campus map are free, with no account.

Do you apply on my behalf?

No. You apply yourself, with the official sources, the dates and the document checklist. You stay in control of your file.

Are your numbers up to date?

The data is current as of October 10, 2026. Every figure carries its year and source. Rules change often: always check the official website before paying anything.
